Lea Alstad

Lea Alstad is a Norwegian visual artist born and raised in Trondheim, now based in Oslo. A self-taught creator, she works across a range of mediums, including murals, illustrations, books, prints, and paintings. Her art explores the complexities of the human experience, often focusing on expressive portrayals of faces and bodies. Drawing inspiration from anatomical studies, she skillfully renders the interplay of muscle fibers and form through dynamic brushwork and a distinctive use of non-naturalistic color. In recent years, Lea has built a significant following on social media, both in Norway and internationally.
