ESPEN EIBORG
Espen Eiborg grew up in Oslo. As a young adult, he traveled to the United States to study and earned a master's degree at the New York School of Interior Design. After his studies, he stayed in New York for several years, to paint. Here he received lots of impulses and inspiration from artists such as De Kooning, J. Pollock and Andy Warhol.
From an early age, Espen Eiborg was preoccupied with light, and in his first artistic period he painted a lot of landscapes. Then the artist's career took a completely new direction where fascination with man and his desire for happiness, money, power and success came into focus. Espen Eiborg's works are in the borderland between reality and fantasy. He is concerned with icons and symbolism, religion, angels and images of gods.
Espen Eiborg has been very successful in his artistic career. He has had exhibitions in New York, Paris, Milan, Dublin and more.
