GJERSTAD
Henrik Gjerstad merges urban landscapes with expressionist and geometric elements. His compositions and palette are well-balanced, ranging from highly colorful to more subdued expressions.
Despite his young age, Henrik Gjerstad (b. 1996) boasts an impressive international background in both art and architecture. With a master’s degree from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and further education at leading institutions such as Delft University of Technology and the Rhode Island School of Design, he combines technical expertise with artistic vision. His work has been exhibited in cities like Oslo, Copenhagen, and New York, and in 2020, he won the ANSA Juvenarte Prize for his artistic talent.
In addition to his own artistic practice, he also works as an architect in Oslo, where his creative influence continues to evolve. He has previously worked for the world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas in New York.
