Trudy Wiegand grew up in Sydney, Australia, but has lived in Norway for several decades.  She has her studio in Oslo, where she also lives with her family. Trudy is educated at Nydalen Art School in Oslo and at Waverley Woollahra Art School in Australia.

Trudy Wiegand's paintings are at the intersection between abstract and figurative art. They are bold and full of energy. The color composition is completely unique and the contrast between light and dark, hard and soft, creates a very special atmosphere in the artworks.
